Mobility in Los Angeles: 2040

Mainstream approaches to strategic foresight are oversimplified, leading to significant gaps in understanding complex systems dynamics. Using a novel stack of foresight methods, this study traces two divergent pathways for Los Angeles down through technology, economics, discourse, culture, and belief, grounded in interviews with diverse members of the communities across LA county. It stands as a working demonstration of a multiversal approach to understanding the interplay of complex systems critical to planning, decision-making, and strategic foresight.
